We all have the gifts of artistry and magic. If we don’t act on that impulse or listen to the inspiration, it will go to the next person who is willing to listen.

Choosing curiosity means opening yourself up to new adventures and possibilities, which can unlock your full potential as a creator. But fear? Well, that’s like a ball and chain, holding you back from living your best creative life.

Living a creative life is all about choosing curiosity over fear. It’s about seeking truth in our fears, finding the courage to overcome them, and using that energy to fuel our pursuits.

Our guest, Beth Robinson, an embodiment of artistry, proves that we’re all creatives at heart. Sometimes, all it takes is a pivot in the right direction to align ourselves with the true creative life we’re destined to lead. If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to truly live a life of artistry and creativity, this is your sign.

With some help from our guest speaker, Beth Robinson, we dish out some juicy insights on how to break free from fear and let curiosity lead the way. Want to live your best creative life? Tune in to the Really Personal Podcast now!

Lifestyle Changes That Help With Being More Creative and Fulfilled

#1: A strict routine.

It’s beyond valuable to have a strict routine, to have a set of expectations placed and actually follow through on them.
Having a morning routine, waking up at a certain time every day before work to exercise, meditate, journal, make your bed, walk your dog, and have a balanced breakfast goes a long way.

#2: Have daily art practice.

Venture into a space that intimately discusses how to find time to express yourself and develop your talents.
Journaling can be a fine substitute. Make Time For Creativity: Finding Space for Your Most Meaningful Work (A Self-Guide) is a wonderful journal prompt book that gets the creative juices flowing.

#3: Remove yourself from a toxic work situation to pursue a more creative career.

If your mental health was at its lowest in your specific job, then perhaps that is a signal of a career or job change. We can easily allow fear to convince us to stay, but our soul is screaming for something else. We are the artists of our own lives. So to pivot in your career to produce design can be life-changing.

Discover how you, too, can pursue new creative passions and find joy in life.
